SInking flies... Yeah. But floating flies? 1 Reply

It seems that most of the flies I use and see used are weighted or subsurface flies. Are floating flies used for reds and trout (or anything saltwater)?

Fishing for Redfish this March in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida.

Planning a trip to fly fish for Reds and Specks. Would appreciate any comments and tips. Would especially like to know about any flats boats that could be rented. Also, anyone interested in fishing…

For a real getawy fly fishing destination check out the Aitutaki Lagoon, Aitutaki, Cook Islands for bonefish and trevally on white sand flats and warm water year round.

Nice article. I wish I could go down as rarely as I do and fly fish for reds in alabama.
